There's a large bunker. No bueno, no boy. Is I actually watched those before coming on to refresh my memory on those and one of my favorite ones that you're probably. Going to play. It is what he was like. Don't get in the right bunkers. 0:17 I was there and didn't like it. That sounds. Like the saga, I couldn't take him seriously. 0:41 Hello and welcome to another episode of Must Play. Today we're talking about Arrowwood Golf Course in Oceanside, CA with our friends Jamelle and Brandon, who you may know as the Beatle boys over on Instagram and YouTube. Fellas, thank you for joining the pod. Good to be here. Thank you for having us honored. 0:58 Of course I know you guys are busy right now on the road to the grass league which if you want to touch on it real quick, you guys are playing in the qualifier tomorrow. How are we feeling? Qualifier tomorrow. So we've played three practice rounds, had one in the evening, one in the afternoon and then we played actually about the time that our qualifying time is going to be, which is 10/18 tomorrow, today. 1:17 And you know, we, we had some good shots. It's going to be coming down to putts tomorrow. You know, the course is like like Goat Hill, you know, a target practice kind of style course. So you just got to be on. And I think, you know, we've come to kind of understanding of how we need to prepare before the round. 1:34 So we're going to get to the best possible space and we'll go. From there, absolutely. Yeah. The Greens are rolling like crazy today and the two previous days they were around not as fast. So we just got to prepare for the time that we had today and just replicate it tomorrow. 1:50 But we're playing pretty pretty, I would say pretty good for sure. We just got to put it all together. Nice. Who? Yeah, Who's teeing off first on one? I am. Hell yeah. Yeah, I mean, who who knows that T flip? 2:06 I don't know how they do it in the grass, like if it's already decided, but if I have to go first, hey, you know, I've, I've hit good shots on there before and just got to execute now. He's lead off guy. Lead off, guy. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. Well, I feel like both of you guys are well suited for the course. 2:23 I know that's probably a good order when you guys are playing against us at Arrowwood 'cause we don't want to spoil anything here, but we got to play a match against you guys. I feel like Jomel was like the clutch coming up second on a lot of those shots. Actually, you know what's funny is I think the order was reversed. 2:42 You guys flipped it in the middle. I think you guys played. No, no full spoilers 18 hole match, right, But I know I mean it made it to the turn. It's spoilers and I think you guys flipped at the turn. 2:58 Yeah, yeah, I think you guys would just, I think the mode, I think you guys just need a little bit of a mojo shift. And yeah, I think, 'cause I think I want to say you guys had it, Brandon Jamel. And then I think you guys flipped it, 'cause sometimes you just, someone doesn't get hot, but you got to change something. 3:15 It's like if you've ever seen Over the Top with Sylvester Stallone, it's like turning the hat around backwards. Yeah. Yeah, I, yeah, I think, you know, like that just suits our game a little bit more. I like to play my style of game and I think if we're being honest, I think Jamel likes to come up in the pressure shots. 3:32 You know, I like to have my routine, you know, kind of stick to to what I do and I think I excel at that. And then I think, you know, if I had a bad shot, Jamel does really well in the 2 hole coming up with clutch shots. And I learned a lot from his first shot too, so it's good to get Intel from his because I think he has a better feel of his game and I could just be the more aggressive one and kind of attack holes a little bit more. 3:54 So yeah, pretty stoked on how we're working right now, so. Well, he's not going to hit it at grass clippings, but that 2 iron that you're mashing at Arrowwood or? Whatever. Yeah, yeah, the three and I really like that. Yeah. No, no holes that long, you know, unless the wind is howling. 4:11 But right, you know, haven't hit that yet. Well, well, I mean, B, you like you mash the ball like if you guys, if if if you guys are listening to this and you haven't gone and watched the beat up boys on YouTube, Go watch both of these guys absolutely hit the piss out of the ball. But no offense, Jamal Brandon mashes the ball like what is what? 4:30 What's the highest club you think you're gonna hit at Grassley this week? If the wind's blowing hard, you know, probably 5 iron, but I think 6 iron is is the highest. Wow. 6 like 190. Five. I was gonna say that's like A1952. 100 yard, yeah. 4:47 Yeah, fuck off. Well. Yeah, we appreciate the plug though, man. Yeah, if you haven't checked this out on YouTube, make sure you head on over our channel, Smack that, subscribe. Hell yeah. Scramble our way around San Diego courses. 5:04 Speaking of, so you're scrambling around Arrowwood and we got a chance to play with you guys there. That was my first time there, but both you guys are in the South Bay. I know this is a bit of a drive for you guys. Was this your first time there or have you been there before? 5:19 And then like if you had been there before, do you feel like knowing what you know, 'cause we're gonna put it through the whole Must Play test, but do you feel like ATLDR is like it's worth the drive? I mean. Oh, absolutely. Yeah, I mean. We're preparing to Our course is down in South Bay. 5:36 It's night and. Day. Just the vibes too. Yeah. We'll get into all that, obviously, but yeah, I think if if you're in the South Bay and you're looking for a quality course at a, you know, affordable price, head on up to Arrowood for sure. Yeah, I really. Recommend. TJ, have you played there before this? 5:55 I know you have. What was your like first impressions of the course? So first impressions of the course, it's one of those ones that unless you live super close to it in North County, it feels like it's still like a good 30 minute drive from everyone. Like I live, I live up in North County and I think it's like 40 or 45 for me on like a Friday afternoon. 6:18 So it's a it, it's a little bit tucked away back in there, but they make it so that once you're there, you really don't need to leave to go do anything else. I will say from the practice facilities, the patio, the the flight deck that they have out there, they really take care of all of the off course amenities really, really well. 6:44 Very strong contender for like 1 of the better patios in San Diego Golf. I mean obviously you have your strong contenders like the Logitori Pines. I think Cross goat crossings at Carlsbad comes to mind. 7:02 But. It's let me think. It's almost there. There's 2 levels. OK, OK. Yeah, and like it. At the right angle you can see a little sliver of the ocean. Yeah. It's like playing Encinitas Ranch where like, OK, every once in a while, if you're like paying attention, you remember that you can see the ocean from up there. 7:22 But yeah, I think I think they absolutely take care of almost all of the off course amenities here that say like, hey, this is a good place to also just come and hang out. And I know that they do a lot within the community as well to get people to come back day in and day out. 7:39 Yeah, they had karaoke going when we were there. Did you, did you guys catch that before we left? Oh no, I didn't. They were standing. They had DJ standing up with the microphone and he was just like, OK, just so you guys know, like we'll be starting karaoke in 15 minutes. And I was. Like, oh shit, yeah, I know, right? 7:57 What's what's what song are you plugging in If you're doing karaoke? Oh. Gosh, what are you doing? I mean the classics. What? Friends in low places? Come on. You go country, I go with. Too many journey. 8:13 Don't stop believing there's a couple, right? OK, test my vocal. Skill. Yeah, that one hurts. Hurts for you a little bit. There's a there's a video of me singing Friends in Low Places at Lamplighter if you've ever been to that place. Awesome lamplighter. So. 8:33 I have not been, no. Yeah, it's fun. It's a fun carry on. I think it's one of the only cash only places still. Yeah, it's so good. I used to work right next to there and we would go after work sometimes and then it was like before you knew it, it was 10 PM Oh, for. Sure. Yeah. 8:51 Anyways, what about you guys, Brad, Jamal, like highlights for you off the top, just like we talked about the patio, for example, but like the course itself with the experience, what sticks out to you is like a headline for the course. I love the layout of it. The layout of it is test testy. 9:07 I mean you have to hit certain shots to in order for you to have a put like a great score on it. So I love the layout of the course. I think it's challenging but fun at the same time. I think it's a lot of fun, you know, I think there's, you know, holes that you can get after and try your hand at or, you know, play back on. 9:25 But I think, you know, before we got on the podcast, one of the things that Jamal highlighted yesterday is it starts 453, which I think is pretty unique because you get one in in the first three holes. So that feels like a a good start. But I love the layout. 9:41 It's always in good condition. I feel like every time I get there, it almost has that goat hill feeling where it's you feel relaxed as soon as you step on, you know, a lot of golf courses. Sometimes you can get there and feel like you know, holy, you know, smokes. This is who do I talk to? 9:58 What's going on? But you get there and the starters, you know, usually very nice, you know, helpful. So I feel like as soon as you get there with the fight deck and and the nice range that it's just a chill. Feeling I need. To go play, have a good time. Yeah. Could you get TJ? 10:13 Could you explain flight Deck real quick for those who've never been? Yeah. So I mean, that's where their range is at. They have their regular standard range base, I think. I think at this point now all of their base have top Tracer technology. And covers, yeah, they were doing that and. 10:30 Then they just put covers in over the ones that used to not be covered. So I think they put covers and solo over that. And then on the like the right hand side there is like what almost feels like very Top Golf esque lounge style seating, TV's. 10:46 And then there's like a second floor above that. I don't think you can hit off of the second floor. I think the second floor is just like a place to sit. And chill. And eat and drink, but then they also have a separate. So in addition to like the nice restaurant and restaurant style seating and patio that they have, there is a different like you could call it a turn stand. 11:08 But it's also like then when I've seen it, when it's open, it's like a full service bar over by the flight deck that they serve the food out of and then you can get drinks from everything. Over there, yeah. Let's see if that's a container. Yeah, yeah, it's a container. Box, I didn't see that. I didn't even. Know that? Oh, really? It was. 11:23 It was closed that day. I don't know. Why? I think it's 'cause they were. I think it was 'cause they were building. The. Awnings over the other so they were like, oh, people aren't gonna be out here, we have half the rain shut down anyway. Yeah. Other pros that you guys haven't called out that I had was views. 11:41 I thought the views from some of the tee boxes were really cool. I like the undeveloped land around some of the course. Just makes you feel like you're out there a little bit. Right. Yep. Yep, Yep. The putting green being next to the first tee in the clubhouse with some undulation in it, like was a fun putting green like that actually is good. 11:57 I I like that stuff. Yep. For cons I had, this might be a tough course for a higher handicapper. It's got some corridors in it. And then the other thing I put was the drive. 12:12 It's just a hike out to get there, Yeah. I think the other one I think, well, we'll, we're going to put it to the test. We'll let you know if it's worth it. But I also think huge huge bonus here separate chipping green from putting green. 12:29 Practice facility. Practice the practice facility is top notch. I know it's I know it's mats. And for a lot of people they just say like, I'll never hit off a map. But to save for that, they do have a separate chipping green from a nicer putting green. And I know a lot of people who just say, oh, I just need to warm up the short game and see how it's rolling and I'm good. 12:47 With a bunker too. With a bunker, which you don't see at golf courses all the time, I don't think go ahead. No, I mean like you see them at like practice facilities, but and I obviously you see them at like country clubs, but I can't I can't think of a lot of golf courses out here that have a bunker at their range. 13:07 I can. Think like a practice bunker right next to the T. Yeah, the chipping green. Steel Canyon Crossings has one I. Mean or he has one next to it out there by the range. Yeah. Yeah. OK, yeah, I guess it's been closed when we've done 'cause we've only gone around on the farmers side. 13:29 Yeah, which isn't gonna be around anymore, is it? They haven't. It's it's it's looking like it's leading that way. I know the PGA Tour just cancelled the two Hawaii stops. Yeah. What? Yeah, I know. Hey, it's. 13:45 Not that enough PGA. This is a poor me to my cats. We're not talking about those rich guys right now. And live golf, let me tell you. All right, I had something fun for you guys that I don't think T JS know or knew that I planned, and we're gonna hope this works. 14:02 If we get a copyright strike here, this will not make it in and then I will just cut this whole thing. But if you're still listening to this, it means we made it. This course, out of any course I've ever done, has my favorite flyovers. I'm a big nut when it comes to like, hey, I want to check the course out before I go to the course, right? 14:22 Some courses just have the little scroll, some have like 1 little maybe highlight reel. This place has hole by hole playlist on YouTube. OK, but the narrator of this is the cheesiest, most serious. Like I I don't know how else to describe it. 14:39 I'm just gonna play for you a few of my favorite holes. I'm just gonna listen to audio. OK, here. Here's hole 5 and how he describes it. As you're standing on the tee of the par forward 5th hole, you have to ask yourself one question. Are you feeling lucky? Most of your mortals will play right and avoid the trouble, but if you want to be aggressive, grip it and RIP it left. 15:00 The front of the bunker is 145 yards in the green. The backside is 90 yards from home on your. Approach. Bunkers in front and behind the green. Yeah, this is another. Point more to our pole requires a tee shot at that bunker on the left with a left to right sloping fairway. 15:18 Avoid going right or your ball may end up in or near the large bunker. No bueno. No way. Is I actually watched those before coming on to refresh my memory on those and one of my favorite ones that you're probably going to play. 15:35 It is what he was like. Don't get in the right bunkers. I was there and didn't like it. That sounds like the saga, yeah. I was like, yeah, I couldn't really enjoy it. 15:50 Though I couldn't take him seriously. Like I was enjoying it, but I was like what is he going to say next? And honestly, I'm going to watch the whole playlist. I, I it's a genius marketing strategy where it makes you feel something. You're not indifferent about it. Either you hate it or you love it. And that's like that's all you're necessarily trying to do is just evoke emotion out of someone. 16:09 Yeah. Like you said, you watch. One more for you. It's hole 17, OK. The PAR 417th holds the dog leg left and has trouble written all over it. That last bunker on the right is 175 yards from the green. Anything left of the fairway is well. 16:27 I hope you have an extra ball in your bag. The screen is elevated so make sure you add a club to get it onto the putting surface. That even if you do that, making par will still be a challenge as the screen has more moves than a DJ at an all night grave. That when what's the Sean, quick question for you on that playlist? 16:48 Yeah, when when did those videos come out? It has eight years ago. 'Cause. Isn't OK. Isn't one of the holes now water? It looked like it used to be a bunker and now it's water. Seventeens that dog legs. 16 and 18 are water, yeah. 18I. 17:08 Think OK one that. Goes over water. OK, Yeah. Yeah, it's just hilarious. So also also, if they're eight years old, that's that's prime, definitely not AI territory, which means that someone wrote those scripts and that is a real person's voice. 17:27 Yeah, they probably got invited out there and got their butt kicked till I eat. Shit. No bueno. No bueno. All right, I think it's time to get into the history of the course. Before we do, we're going to hear from our sponsor for today's episode, Bird Darts. 17:45 Today's episode of Must Play is sponsored by Bird Darts Premium Golf Tees. Nothing relaxes me more on the course than tear and open a box and RIP in a few bird darts with the boys. The 100% bamboo golf Tees feature a clean design with marks to help you tee up your shots consistently. Check out their new 4 packs they just dropped for you and all your boys. All right, let's dive into the history of Arrowood here. 18:20 So Oceanside, CA, I think it's fair to say it doesn't get quite the attention that other parts of San Diego do. It doesn't have a Balboa Park. It's not, you know, touristy like Mission Bay maybe, or Coronado. But it is great. But what it does have is a lot of history, and it's just as old as those areas I just described. 18:38 And it's history actually runs from indigenous villages to Spanish missionaries to one of the largest Marine Corps bases in the world. And now, tucked up in the hills above the valley is a golf course that a lot of people drive right past without even knowing it's there. TJ mentioned earlier that, you know, it's so far tucked away that some people just don't make the pilgrimage. 18:57 So let's start at the beginning here. Oceanside actually was populated by indigenous people called the Luis Suenos by the Franciscan missionaries who arrived in 1769. Hopefully I pronounced that right. Of course, they wound up building Mission San Luis Rey, which is pretty famous over there. 19:16 And that was established a few miles from present day Oceanside. And it prospered so dramatically became known as the king of the missions. So for decades, this valley, the same one Arrowood overlooks today, was the beating heart of the economy over there. And then came land grants, ranchers, gold seekers and eventually the railroad. 19:33 And a storekeeper named Andrew Myers is credited as the founder of Oceanside, owning the first parcel of land that would become downtown. So within months of the town site being laid out in 1883, Oceanside was being marketed as a seaside resort, with trains arriving before bearing visitors from inland San Diego and counties up north. 19:52 By the turn of the century, it had a pier, hotels and a reputation as the kind of beach escape that people would want to make from all over California. And then World War 2 came and changed everything, as it did in a lot of San Diego. World War Two saw Oceanside grow from a sleepy little town to a modern city. 20:08 The population jumped and the Marine Corps put Camp Pendleton right on the border of Oceanside, which is just north of where Erewitz sits today. So that was established in 1942. And it trained Marines for service in World War 2. And by 46, it became the home of the First Marine Division. 20:24 And the base in the city have been inseparable ever since. If you've ever been to Oceanside, you know Kent Pendleton isn't just nearby. It defines the northern edge of the town and the character, basically, of the community. Now, it's worth noting Erewood sits right on the boundary of that world. So it's adjacent to Kent Pendleton and only 35 miles north of San Diego. 20:42 But it's on a scenic hilltop overlooking the valley. And it has real quick, either of you guys want to guess how many miles from the coastline do you think this course is? 20 miles. It's like, it's like it's probably weirdly like sneaky a lot or sneaky not a yeah. 21:00 I wanna say it's like 7. Yeah, my guess was gonna be like 11. 9 miles. It feels so much further than 9 miles from the coast. Does it? Not. Yeah, it's so you don't think that when you get there, it feels sort of like nestled up there, but it's actually kind of close if you look on a map. 21:21 So how did the golf course get there? So Arrowood's actually one of Oceanside's premier master plan communities and at build out it contained over 1000 single family homes spread across a bunch of neighborhoods. And the golf course wasn't added as an afterthought. It was actually conceived as the centerpiece of the whole development, the thing that would give the community its identity and its name. 21:41 Parking back to what TJ said earlier about, you know, they put on a lot of events at that patio and stuff to make the community come back out. This was the plan. They wanted this to be the centerpiece of basically of the whole master plan community. It would open in 2005 as a par 71 championship layout integrated into the terrain. 21:59 So to design it, we're gonna talk about a developer that we've talked about a few times on this pod. It is not Bell, though. TJ 'cause we always talk about him. But who comes to mind when you think about other San Diego developers or architects? I'm drawn an absolute blank right now. 22:14 Just lay it on me please. Think about Bernardo, any Rancho Bernardo related. I can't ever remember who he is. OK, Ted Robinson. So, yeah, so just like the Bells, we had a senior and a junior. OK, so in the Robinson family, the senior was born in 54, or excuse me, he was born in Long Beach. 22:33 And he started his practice in 54 and designed over 160 courses across the US and other countries. He became one of the most recognizable names in his designs, and he earned the nickname King of Waterscape. Splashing waterfalls, shimmering lakes, things like that. That was what he was known for, But Junior actually had a different path to the table. 22:52 And Junior left his career in financial services at Wells Fargo before joining his father's firm in 91. And they worked together for nearly two decades until Senior passed away in 2008. Arrowood was one of Junior's designs built independently from his father's signature water heavy aesthetic. 23:09 And he liked to use natural terrain more so he wanted the design to feel like it was not being bulldozed to, you know, unrecognizable territory. He wanted to use the landscape and what it gave him. He picked this site or helped, you know, part of the reason for the site was the topography and the extent that the natural areas were adjacent to the holes. 23:28 It felt open and unconfined. Many holes are bordered by undeveloped habitat, which give the course a feeling of seclusion. And this isn't a course that was bulldozed into submission. Like I mentioned, he wanted to use everything that he found there, and the routing works with the land rather than against it. So the course was developed and part of a valley that's exposed to winds. 23:47 Play early in the morning under general calm conditions, you'll find something more docile. The breeze though picks up a little bit in the afternoon and you'll get a little bit of a different course then. Usually by that point you're at the most difficult part of the course, which is the last four holes known as the quandary, which they have a sign on when you get to hole 15. 24:06 These holes in the whole course challenge even experienced golfers with a lot of elevation shot making requirements. They have a way of determining basically how a good round ends or unravels at the worst possible moment. Spoilers if you haven't watched the match yet by the time you listen to this because it's fun. 24:22 And today Arrowwood offers golf alongside Top Tracer base at the flight deck, dining at the kitchen and the bar and all of the amenities essentially you could find at sometimes private clubs. And it's a public course that plays like it isn't sitting in the hills above a city shaped by missions, Marines and the ocean. 24:39 So does it earn a spot on the must play list? We're going to find out. Did you guys learn anything new there I. Learned a ton. Yeah. Cool, I always try and go nerdy with it without going too deep anymore. I used to make these things like novels in the beginning. I was deep but. 24:56 I loved it, bro. I loved the the history. Yeah, I'd love to almost, I don't know if anybody's in smack me for this, but when I think of that course, it reminds me like a combination of Aviara and like RBI. Yeah. I can see where I haven't played Aviara so I I'm not sure. 25:15 I would assume you're probably talking about the undulation that it has associated with it. Yep, Yep. And then and. Then RBI, yeah, RBI probably gives it. I can see the RBI comparison. The weird thing that I noticed about Arrowwood when you were talking about it, Sean, is that it feels like every, not every hole, but a lot of holes are lined with houses. 25:36 But I don't ever feel like I hit a ball into a backyard or at a house. Mm hmm. No, I think so. The houses are like further away in the front 9 like the until you get some stumble specifically that you're like winding through I think like on that back 9. 25:53 Thank. Goodness. Yeah, what's that? He said thank goodness. Oh yeah, my, for my sake, he was apologizing for me. Yeah. I think there was a lot of squirrely shots that day. There was a day we. Yeah. Yeah, that was a fun match. 26:10 You'll, you'll see that, you know, we've got all the tee shots on tape. There's there's some balls that were, you know, left to be discovered by creatures or someone who's walking through the trails. Yeah. Say that putting those tracers together were pretty tough. Sorry, those little guys. 26:28 We won't worry about those little guys. Let's get in the must play test here. So TJ and I of course have a question, 10 questions here to determine if golf courses must play. The course has to score a six out of 10 to be up for debate or 7 out of 10 or higher to automatically earn our must play status. 26:44 Since we have 4 guys, each of us get a vote. TJ and I are going to determine who's the tiebreaker is on certain questions here. And so question one is the Augusta test. Is this course easy to get a tee time on? Does it have a straightforward booking process? And are there times available the week of your intended play? 27:00 You guys are the locals, so you tell me. Go. To TJ. Personally, personally on this one, I think as public you can only book seven days out right now and then you have to use an app or sign up for a platform called Golf District that allows you to book 8230. 27:23 With Golf District, you can resell the tee time. I believe that's what their platform is built upon. It feels a bit confusing. And then like I looked today, it is a Tuesday. 27:41 You cannot find a tee time before 3:00 PM. So. So with either trying to book within the week, that's a fail. And then if you're trying to say, hey, we're gonna plan a little bit ahead and you are someone who's maybe coming from out of town, I feel like that's the whole golf district thing can be very confusing. 28:02 So I think for me it's a fail. I agree I didn't book the tee time so you. Guys. Did you guys not book the other time that you played? Yeah, no, we didn't. But as someone who has looked at tea times for, you know, up north in kind of that corridor, I agree with TJ. 28:21 The only times that I see within the week are, you know, after 2:30. Yeah. So, you know, it doesn't work for us. We're not getting home till 9:00. Yeah. Yeah, that's tough. Yeah. So how long? What's? That. 28:38 How long of a drive is it for you guys? It's just about an hour. Damn. OK. It's wild to think that it's it's wild to think that you guys live down in the South Bay and, and I live in Rancho Bernardo and it's really only like a 15 minute difference. 28:56 Because it's just highway the whole way for them basically, right? Yeah. And it's like it, it's like where all of the time is conjoined up is once you get off of the highway and have to just drive through Oceanside or I guess you go through Vista and then Oceanside, right? 29:13 Yeah. OK. So we're saying fail for this one. I think this is a fail, yeah. OK oh for one question 2 the bang for your buck test. Is this golf course worth the rate you pay? Do you feel like this course is a good value during peak season? 29:31 What was it? What was the tea time? I was just saying. Passenger princesses over here don't know how much it costs to play 'cause they're always. Getting I mean, geez, they're. Just getting taken there. Everybody just takes care of more. I think like 110 bucks right? Yeah, weekends are, I believe Friday, Saturday, Sundays are 120. 29:51 Yeah, Yeah. I think it's about 1:10. Yeah. Yeah. OK, go ahead. I think so. That's the cost for the weekend. I think that's worth it, yeah. Yeah, here's a breakdown here for anyone not in the know. Monday through Thursday is 100 with cart included. 30:08 Fridays through Sunday and holidays is 120. And then twilight begins at 1:00 PM, which is feels a little early. It's. Early, yeah. Nice. Monday through Thursday that's 70 bucks and on the weekends that's 90. Bucks That's a good deal for. 30:25 One, yeah. That's like the definition of like a pass in Southern California, 100%. I think it's, you know, for somebody who's very critical of golf courses that are $100 and above, yeah, I think it's honestly a steal. Yeah, yeah. 30:40 Yeah, all, yeah, all things included. I don't recall like the range balls being super expensive or anything like that either. So like all in, like once you're through, I don't, I, I, I don't think you're breaking like 150 bucks with your whole setup and everything. So yeah. 30:56 It's a pass. I'm a pass from that too. Yeah, cool. One for two here. So question 3, the Iverson test, does this course have good practice facilities? Would you spend time warming up or just head for the bar before the round? We talking about? Practice, practice, practice, practice, practice. 31:16 Not a game. No, not. A game. Again, a stickler for practice facilities beforehand. I want to chip and putt on two different, you know, greens and this one passes for me. Passers for ring 2 bunkers. Bunkers for chipping area. 31:32 That's a pass. What about? What about top? Grass, we got top traces that freaking. No grass. Yeah, what about no grass at the range? Because I'm used to no grass on a range, it's not a big deal. I I don't think there's very many courses that we play that have grass ranges. 31:50 OK. Or mat rats. I mean I would I would really prefer a grass range but the ones that we play on are like rather go to mats. Yeah. Yeah, I I get the, I understand the qualms with not having grass at a range that you are warming up on, but even at myself as a high handicap, I probably know the least about my golf swing out of anyone here on this call and out of a lot of golfers. 32:21 I know if I'm hitting a good or bad ball off of a mat, it is it is very apparent in most instances if the ball is going to be a good ball or a bad ball, like if the if the mat helped me or not. So I don't think people need to be as sticklers. 32:38 I think, I think the whole I need to have grass to warm up on, I think that's a little Snooty if I'm being honest. Yeah. Speaking of Speaking of knowing if you're hitting it good or not on a mat, is there anything worse than the simulator that shows the slow MO club face at impact and you're? 32:56 Like this, it just twists open at impact. And it rubs it in every time. OK. So you 2 are passes, TJ, you're passing this one? Yeah, I'm a definite pass. It checks, it checks all the boxes. 33:12 The only one that doesn't passes that that I'm like is an automatic pass is free range balls. But they have a, they have a range that is very much populated by the local community all the time. So they're not going to be a free range ball type place. Do you OK, I wanted to know this question, Do you know if it costs more to get the top Tracer technology over there? 33:33 No, I think it's on all the bays. OK, but I don't. Know is it? Yeah, 'cause it's on all the bays that I'm only. You're right. Yeah. Sometimes you do, yeah. Sometimes you do have to like pay to get it turned on, right? Right. I think that is, I think that is an extra cost then, yeah. 33:51 Yeah, like if you go play here at Dobson, they have the same thing where you can go ahead and bucket and any of those bays, the TV's there, but it's not on. And then you can say or I'll rent it for 1/2 hour or an hour and then they turn it on and then you get Top Tracer, OK? So then, yeah. OK. 34:07 But still, we're passing this one. Yeah, so for sure. OK, cool. So we're saying 2 for three here. So it's doing pretty good. Question for the Jonesy test, could you see yourself spending $100 on merch in their pro shop? Do they have a logo or apparel worth wearing? I let me start on this real quick. 34:22 TJ and I spent some time in that shop and I was wanting hard to like something in there 'cause I could already tell the course was going to be sick. And I was like, it's just not doing it for me. Like both options and logo. And then on top of that, we had some money to spend and I was like, I still just don't want to spend it here. 34:39 Like I didn't feel like that was the place to spend. So yeah, I'm a fail on that one. TJ, go ahead. No, gents, I'm the I'm the ultimate vote here, so I need to know if I have to break a tie here or. Not I have a logo ball. The logo's OK, but aside from that that's all I get at pro shops. 34:56 Yeah, I think 1. The pro shop's a little small and there's no real good variety. By the way, Phil Papago has one of the best golf shops I've ever. Seen Oh my God and sick logo too. Golf logo. Yeah, and Packers facility. 35:12 Jesus, Yeah. Oh God, yeah, yeah. If yeah, we, I, it passed on both of those. It was we Papa Go was a must play for us, right Sean? Yeah. Oh yeah. Easy. Yeah. Yeah. Did you guys have a beer on the patio there too? We actually ate there. Oh, it's good. Food too. Oh my God. 35:28 Yeah, practice, you know, spent some time there, hit some chips. It was just so serene. Good to see the, you know, the red rock and stuff like that. Just. Yeah. Incredible. Yeah. It's a total vibe out there. On the weekends, they have music playing. There's like brunch situation. 35:43 It's a lot of fun, but. That open grass area that's I think that's just top notch they. Need something like that in San Diego Yeah. I I mean, there's no room for it. That's yeah. We were just talking about this. We were just talking to go ahead. 36:00 No, that that was all I was gonna. Say, oh, I was gonna say we were just talking to Todd Dobson for grass league and we were and TJ was mentioning that everyone in San Diego is trying to think of like what course could be a lit up at night course like grass clothings. And it made me think about like other things that the valley has that San Diego doesn't and then vice versa. 36:21 Like we don't have a goat hill. I would love a goat hill out here, but you guys don't have a Papa go. I feel like with that kind of situation. So there's like trade-offs, I feel like. No, I mean Dobson's. I mean Dobson's its own kind of goat hill. It's obviously not like AI think it's vibey. 36:37 I think Dobson's pretty vibey. Do you not? It's not like what Goat Hill is. Yeah, it's I. Mean, I think, go ahead. It's vibey until you're there and it's 110° and no one's outside and there's just bugs around your face. Well, you're not. You're never gonna get a you're never gonna get a goat Hill in Arizona. 36:54 Right. Yeah, I think, I mean, yeah. That breeze, yeah. Yeah, no, I love it. But I think it almost has to be an executive style course to have that style of vibe. Yeah, you know, I, I just don't think a long style course can can bring that. Mission Bay. Mission Bay can be like that. 37:10 I mean, Mission Bay is mission. Bay is so Mission base trying to turn it around. I just saw that they're putting Harlan's gonna run the restaurant down. There. Oh, what? Wow, like the right side? 37:26 Like, yeah, so they're gonna have Harlan's gonna take over that whole space 'cause they close down their, I mean, breaking. San Diego news reporter here, TJ Van Guenten, Harlan Brewery closes their one Paseo tap room to open up restaurant right up the way here from me up in 4 S Ranch that's within walking distance of me. 37:48 And then they also diverted some of that attention to go take over that spot at Mission Bay because I think they closed trying to want Paseo. What is that South Park? Del Mar. No, that's that's Del Mar. Oh, what? What? Which one am I thinking about? 38:04 That's also Harlan. Oh, there's a Harlan one, OK. I think there is a Harland in South Park. I mean they still have a few other locations, but the one that they had in one Paseo. Was a, was a. Decently large sized space just for beer. They didn't even serve food out of it. So yeah, they're they're so the Mission Bay and Mission Mission Bay I think is still working on the lights. 38:27 They, I get the notifications from the San Diego Golf City Council or whatever that says. Oh yeah, we're, we're still trying to work on fixing the lights. And maybe someday they'll fix the lights. I. Don't know. Yeah, the location, I mean, I would love it to be that, right, because it has it won't be. 38:46 Does anyone ever. Give it up that land. Yeah, it's the city, but. Yeah, but that spot outside, right could be almost like Ponderosa. But I mean, you know, you talk about vibes. Walking in the grass clippings Is Glenn Rosa Ponderosa. I said Glenn. Rosa, I wasn't going to correct him, Jomel, but you? 39:04 Correct me, Glenn Rosa. Definitely get past this guy. Yeah, Detective Jimmy he. Just ate there, now that place is. Pretty. Good. It is good, yeah. That's a vibe. Yeah. All right. Well, all that to say, it's a fail on the Jonesy test. 39:27 So we're we are two for four here. Question 5 The buzzworthy test. Are there multiple holes worth talking about? Does this course have more than one hole? A group would want to immediately go play again If you guys are going to say yes for this, by the way, I want to hear from you. Two holes that you want back, that you want to go play again. 18 and 16. 39:46 OK, so both quandary holes. Now 18, because you have to kind of lay up or I mean you could go for it if you really wanted to, and then the overlooking view on 16 is pretty sick. Uh huh. I like 9. And then I like 2, I think the, you know, the long par 5 and then you know, 9 is awesome. 40:07 But you know, I don't know the exact holes. I think there's a lot of holes there that are are worthy of playing again though for sure. Yeah. Yeah, I would say I'm in agreeance with with Jamel 16 for sure. I remember the first time I played, I played in a foursome of guys and none of us had ever played there. 40:26 And admittedly, so I'm like, man, I really wish I could go back and replay that whole knowing what I know now just from even just from like a strategy standpoint. But I do think that there's like also the fun way of like, well, I could play this is like turn this from a par 4 to a par five, hit two shots down, layup, hit a wedge over and hopefully Tupac get out with a bogey. 40:51 But then there's also like the, if I hit a ball straight, how far can I RIP a driver down this hole? And then can I hit an equally probably also far shot that's actually gonna try and stick and hold that green? I think the same kind of goes for 18 like Jamel talked about. 41:09 I like, I mean, I, I like 1 and I also like 10. I think Sean and I, I, I go back and without fully spoiling the episode, obviously we made it to hole 10. I still like get I still like have flashbacks of hole 10 for Sean and I because I realistically should have told you, Sean, that we should have laid up. 41:31 Oh yeah. And not been stuck far down hitting a awkward downhill chip. We should have just laid up and stayed up high on the left like where they were. But yeah, I think there's definitely more than more than two out there that I would like to go back and play all the time. 41:47 Which is fun. I think the back and forth hole, you know, it's just a lot of good golf there. Yeah, that is one thing about the course we didn't touch on is like beyond the elevation, there's some uneven lies on some of these fairways, which is like fun. I like that. Yeah. I don't know what hole is. 42:04 I think it's 14, but it was like a par four with a corridor. It's a bit downhill and the greens there, it's before you get to the quandary, but that hole is a lot of fun. Like I just like the look of it and I wanted it back immediately. Are you talking 13 and 14 that go next to each other? I want the one going South, so 13's along part 5 and then 14's at par 4 coming back. 42:24 OK. Yeah, I like that a little. Bit of par four, yeah, it's. Gonna look. Like the Yeah and I agree 6. .1 Downhill. Downhill to. Yeah, I really like that part 5 though, too, the one because it's, it's not an easy one with that the green that's tucked up there, right. Is that the one you're tucked up? 42:40 Yeah. Yeah. OK. Well, we're already all in ingredients sounds like because we're all talking about more. Than two all the holes. Yeah. So we need a rematch. Yeah, it's buzz worthy. So we're going to go 3 for five here. So question 6, the glizzy test does of course have good food at the turn. 42:57 Are you eating here or packing your own snacks? We did eat here at the turn. I think I had a chicken Caesar wrap that was actually pretty decent. If I had one qualm, it's that it took a while for everything to like. If there's anyone else ahead of you to get food or whatever, it took a little while. 43:17 Yeah, now refresh my memory here. Did they drive food out to us or no? No, yeah. No, no, they didn't. Did they drive your food out? No, I thought they did. No, I feel like that's The thing is I feel like they might have driven your guys. 43:33 They did, they did, they did because she came down the hill to go after 10. OK, well, it might have taken a while to order because I feel like, you know, 1 you have to walk into the the spot to go order and I think there was a couple people before us and it did take I think close to 1015 minutes. 43:51 So and then we didn't. Even get food. Yeah, I will say if they are willing to drive your food out to you, no, I don't know. Let me ask this question. Were they driving the food out because it was taking so long, or do we think that that's how they always operate? 44:10 I think that's how they operate to be honest. I, I could see that. I could see it, but yeah. OK, I don't know. All I know is when I tried to get drinks the first time before the round and then at the turn, in both cases you have people sitting at that bar and then you have people ahead of me that and it's one person working the bar and the to go. 44:30 And that's stood there for a long time before I was even putting an order in. That's where that other satellite bar that's over by the flight deck comes in super handy. I could see that. I could see that. Because I think you can order from there as well. And then I think that's where the drive out comes in from them. 44:49 Yeah. And I mean, I have to say, if the drive out is what they do, I've gone on record multiple times on the podcast and said that if you drive the food out, you are an automatic pass on the glizzy test for me. So there's quote #1. 45:04 I'm a fail, so it's up to you guys here. They had spam mesubi, mesubi and the thing so I'm. Nice. So it's up to me. Wow. OK, I'm going to give a few few things here. 45:21 I think one thing I think I don't know if I would go on the turn, but I might go eat beforehand and sit on the flight deck. I think I had the chicken Caesar wrap too, and I think it was decent. So I think if that was good, I would say pass, but I think because it was just decent, I'm going to say fail. 45:40 OK, so we're tied here, but I. Didn't I? Didn't I mean I thought you. Wanted to split. I didn't. I thought it needed more dressing. I want to. Be honest. I agree. If I'm going to be honest with you, going into that vote, I knew that your vote technically doesn't matter, Brandon, because if you failed, it was a tie and it went to my pass or if you passed it, it was 3 passes versus 1 failed. 46:02 Well, thanks brother. But I enjoyed the we didn't. Want you to go on the record for earlier. I liked your input. Yeah. I want them to know what you look like and what you thought about it so that the next time they go, they go. That's him. We got to take care of him. 46:18 He's he's VIP. They're going to print out a picture of you. They're going to hang it in the back office. They say you see this man, you take care of him. Give him some sauce. Sauce. Yeah. Man's progressing all right well T JS the tiebreaker here, so we're going to say 4 for six question 7, the Marshall test does this course have a good decent pace of play? 46:43 Could you play a relatively quick around here? If you have somewhere to be after you get somewhere to be after that's not up by Arrowwood, that's going to be a bit tough. I mean these boys talked about getting home at 9:00 PM after a twilight 2:00 PM tea time. 46:58 I also very distinctly remember the karts screaming at us and we were pay. I think we played the front nine in two hours and the karts were chirping us for being behind pace. Yeah, I don't, I think that I don't know what this world has turned to. 47:19 I think, you know, some people maybe has have ruined it for for people that try to finish in the four 15430 pace, but I think we finished eighteen in like 415. And yeah, for a period of time it was like the cart was tripping us in every hole. 47:37 The cart was chirping at us and we ran into people on the back 9 right? Like I, I think, I think by the time that we got 213, I think we were playing into the back of people and waiting on the tee boxes. Yeah, is it safe to say I feel like you? 47:53 Have something to say? Is it safe to say exactly? The skid of a. Few people or I think it's I mean, I don't so I do remember sitting behind people, but I also think at the same time for what time was did we start afternoon right like one what almost 2130. I think we had a one O clock tee time. 48:11 One O clock. Yeah, I think if you know golf to a certain degree after starting after noon, you can you can assume that you're probably going to play A55 and 1/2 hour run. 100%. In my in my, just San Diego golf in general, I think. 48:29 In San Diego or Southern Cal? Yeah, for sure. Southern California, Yeah, that's just my experience. I mean, we played a four hour run here. And yeah, exactly, of course. We did, we did. We did the same thing two weekends ago when we played grass clippings for our buddy Alex's bachelor party. 48:44 I think we took, I think we took 44 hours to play 18 par threes like. Yeah. But then we played Whirlwind and we played in the afternoon and we played fast at Whirlwind. We did play fast at Whirlwind but yeah in California the the the IT chirping at me on a 2 hour front 9. 49:03 That's ridiculous. Annoying. I would. That was annoying to say the least. Yeah, I'm a fail for this just because of the second part of the question. You got somewhere to be after. This is not the course you're choosing. That's the whole day affair, to be honest. Yeah. 49:19 I mean, if, I mean, if I think about it like I think, I think we left my house, Sean probably at like, I don't know, 11, 11:15 maybe. Yeah, you probably didn't get back to my house until, I don't know, like 6. 49:38 It was like. Later. Later, yeah. It was, I mean, yeah. I mean, you play at twilight and then you've got nothing but traffic on the freeways. It's tough. Yeah. All right. So we're failing this. Yeah, Yeah. OK. So that means we're 4 for seven. So it's got to pass two out of the next 3 to be up for debate here. 49:56 So question 8, the high handicapper test. Would a mid to high handicapper enjoy this course in typical conditions? Is it fair to all handicaps? Are the greens or pin positions fair? Jamelle, why are you smiling? You want to go first. Sure. Give them a teaser what they're going to see in the YouTube video Jamelle. 50:17 As a high hint capper, just me playing in general. What do you think? What you noticed about high handicappers on this course? Oh man, it's a tough course to play. I mean, if you can't hit certain spots on that course it is. 50:33 It is tough slutting for sure. So I would say it's a fail. Yeah, yeah. I mean, I just, if you're a high handicapper and you're expecting to try to play good, yeah, don't go there. But if you're expecting to have, you know, a good time, enjoyable views, good course conditions, then go. 50:51 I think it depends on the high handicapper. But yeah, it's not it. You're not, you're not a high handicapper and you can go and shoot your best round there. I know I'm like in the middle but. I think the quote I remember specifically out of you Brandon, was TJ. I'm surprised you picked this course for the match. 51:08 Yeah, on like the third T box I was, if you didn't bring it up, Sean, I was going to. But yeah, I I very distinctly remember Brandon calling me out and being like, you really picked this course out for the match, Like that was the one that you wanted to play. And I was like, well, you know, we do. We need to just put some courses to the must play test and I needed to get Sean on a course that he hadn't played before. 51:30 It was like either this, I mean, I had a good time. Do you wish I played better golf of? Course, I just wish I played better golf and I think if I was probably playing my own ball that day though, that's that's a tough scene. Mm hmm, A. 51:47 Lot of balls. That's a lot of balls. That's a lot of like, I'm just going to go up and drop by you, which like, you know, some days, some days you want to do that and some days that's fine. And you're just going to say, we're not going to go try and find that ball. 52:03 I'm just going to drop up by you. And then other days you want to go out and you want to shoot a score and you want to put the ball in the cup. And, and like we talked about, there's a lot of spots on this course where you're not hitting off of flat even lie. And that tends to also be another like, whoa, that like a not a lot of high handicappers necessarily. 52:23 Think about that. That adds up a ton where you're like, oh, I finally hit a fairway and I'm standing at a 15° angle and the ball's well below my feet. And I don't ever practice anything like this. I very rarely hit shots like this and it just ends up being a bad day. 52:43 And then greens are a little tricky too. So I mean, I think we all know where I'm leading with. This. Fail. Yeah. Yeah, it's a fail. Great course, great conditions, I know. 52:59 Yes. I know I know, but it's but like I mean if your buddy is. It's of course it asks tough questions and it's asking tough questions of every golfer. And if if you're like, like you just said, without even lie, you're a higher handicapper, you might not like know, OK, where do I put the ball in my stance? 53:15 Or how do I do this when the ball is way below my feet or the OR I'm on a downhill slope? Like those little questions that just 'cause you know, the round to go sideways you. You play, you play, you play 16, and you don't know how narrow 16 is, right? And you're like, oh, I'm just gonna RIP driver off this. 53:31 And then you turn around like literally the first time I played a RIP driver on 16, we drive around the corner and I'm like, oh, this thing is narrow as hell. And obviously I never found my ball shocker. But then like you think about it and it's like, oh, even at that you go, oh, like, do I sensibly play an iron off the tee and iron in and lay it up and play it as a par 5 even though it's a par 4? 53:57 Like. Yeah. Same thing with 18, right? Like do I, you know, I can hit driver off the tee and OK, maybe I hit a good driver and then it's like, OK, cool, what do I do? Hit a 50 yard pitch so that I can hit 150 yard shot in. Do I, You know it, like you said, it asks a lot of difficult questions of someone who's unsure about their golf game, where the only question that they're asking themselves is can I make solid contact with this ball and club? 54:23 Yeah, Ted Robinson junior was like fuck them. Hi, handicappers. I'm gonna make all right, I'm gonna fail. Are you guys fail for this? OK, so all right, here. So we got 4 for 8. 54:39 So it's got to pass these next two to be out for debate. Question 9, the vibes test. Is this course worth staying at post round? Do they have a good restaurant or patio scene? 100% I think we already said this. You, you had you had me at karaoke. Yeah, me too. 54:56 Yeah, I think there's nothing better than, you know, if you have the time to after a round, post round, grabbing a beer, grabbing, you know, whatever you want from the maybe a span of Suvi sounds good, going to fight deck and just talking about the round right where you could have. Yeah, I could have shot that 70 if you know. 55:12 Whatever. Yeah. The traffic, yeah, you know what, I think it is a good place if you're, if you're into spending 1/2 day at a golf course, it's definitely a good spot to do. Yeah, I would agree 100%. Yeah, it's, yeah. 55:28 Good patio or good patio for the restaurant flight deck is also great. And then like we talked about, I think when I even looked at the website to check tee time availability earlier today, I think they do like trivia during the week. They've got pickleball courts tucked away back there. Yeah. It's six of them. 55:44 Yeah. It's a it's a it's a community thing. It is a it is a spot for the community, which makes me think that like it's also probably a dope place to actually hang out after year round because you got to think it's for that community. It's probably the closest bar local watering hole for for the Arrowwood community. 56:04 So, yeah, all right. So we're 5 for 9. All right, Question 10, the dime a dozen test. Is this course unique to the area or could you get this golf experience somewhere else on your trip or visit? In this question, think of like people from out of town. So you guys are hosting, you're taking them somewhere. 56:20 Does this make the short list of courses that you're taking them to? Wow, wow, tough. Question. Yeah, especially, I mean, if I'm like in South San Diego or like. San Diego Middle. 56:36 San Diego. Just say like a group staying somewhere in like PB or somewhere in Central like you know? Like, would you recommend this course together? Yeah. Yeah. As one of the few. As one of the few for a Golf Club. Top five. Top 10 Three. Well, we don't specify in the question, so we can be subjective. 56:55 If, if you've got a four, if you've got a four day, three night and you're trying to squeeze in four rounds, 5 rounds, maybe over those days. Oh. Man. Insane now. No. How much? Yeah. I mean, I'd love, I mean I'd love, I'd love to, to send them that way, but I feel like there's a list of ghosts. 57:16 Tori, yeah, I mean. Yeah, you said, you said it yourself because part of this question is could you get this golf experience somewhere else? You said it's kind of like Aviara and Rancho Bernardo. Yeah, and if you compared? The other courses that you and I'd. Rather, play Anthony's Ranch over Arrowood. 57:34 Oh, really? Action. Of the price. True, but he said he'd play Insignias Ranch though over Arrowood. Well, because you're going to score at Insignias Ranch, too. You're just going to have a better experience. Yeah, yeah. But you're going to get better views still get the same quality of course, and then I think a more fun layout, not. 57:54 I mean hit at any? There's no there's no bunker to hit Ave. and there's no karaoke though. Yeah. When we did the San Diego golf trip pod with Noli, he had a hard time. He had two courses in the back of his mind and he was like, hi, I can't figure out what to choose here. 58:12 Do I send them to like the like the cheaper course or the more expensive course? And eventually he chose Aviara. He was like, OK, I'll send them there. And at the end of the pod, he was like, OK, can I just say the honourable mention? And it was Arrowwood. And when I talked to him later on, he was just like, I don't know. 58:27 I flipped back and forth whether I should have sent the group there or not. But ultimately, it wasn't like at the front of the list. It was like at the bottom. And it could have been subbed in or out at any moment. And TJ and I, neither of us put it on our golf trip. No. Well, you hadn't played it, but but here's my biggest thing with this question. 58:46 Would you send somebody to like, if you're sending somebody up to Oceanside, are you going to send them to this golf course over Goat? No, not for the I mean, yeah, I think it depends on a person, right? If they're yeah, I think even if they're a great golfer, GOAT is still harder. Yeah, I think experience wise I'd take GOAT over. 59:05 Right. Yeah. And if you're if you're talking. About and the right if they're serious golfer, they're not gonna like this the six M before them, the dogs running all over the course. Well, if they're serious and we're talking time to get somewhere, you could probably get to Journey Pachanga around the same time. 59:23 That's not that's in Temecula. I know, but think about the time it takes to just go up to 15 versus winding through. Every. I mean, dude, there's so many courses in that corner. Cross Creek, Red Hawk, even. Yeah, Immaculate Creek. Immaculate Creek in Yeah. All right, time to vote. 59:41 Thumbs up. Thumbs down. Yeah. That suck. It's a sucky now, yeah. I feel bad about this because I really feel like this is a golf course you should play, you know, if you have the time, it's not your your trip. I think it's a quality golf course. So I feel bad about ranking this as a not as a not. 1:00:01 You just said it, if you have the time, was your qualifier on that. So that doesn't make this a must play. It's if you have the time, that's that's what we call a should play. Love that. It's it's one of those ones that I think, I think if you're on a trip, like I think in framing the question, if you're on a trip, it probably doesn't make the list if you are a San Diego County resident and you have not played Arrowood yet. 1:00:33 Go. Play it is a must play. Go play Arrowood. Not this weekend 'cause you can't book it, but next weekend. Yeah. Yeah, I mean, I would like I said, I would recommend anyone who lives here go up, go play it. It's a great track. 1:00:49 Like Brandon said, it's always in good condition. You're going to be able to get there. You're going to have a full warm up. It is definitely of course that you want to spend a full half day at full half day. Good job, TJ, great day. But yeah, on a trip there's a lot greater places to fill up the itinerary with. 1:01:09 Yeah. OK. So we're failing. Yeah, I know for an outside resident. Right for an. Outside resident. I know it hurts. Yeah. All right, so it's officially a 5 out of 10 which we call should plays. These questions are tough and like TJ said, it is worth checking out, but just doesn't make the short list of must plays for us. 1:01:30 Real quick transitioning to you guys. I obviously you guys are really busy. You're practicing for the tournament tomorrow, so I appreciate you taking the time with us, but I want to leave the space for you to plug anything, maybe the series itself or anything else that you guys have coming up. No, I just want to say stay tuned. 1:01:49 Thank you guys for watching us on the Must Play podcast. You make sure you smack that subscribe button on Fair Wangers Golf. Make sure you smack that subscribe button on the Beatle Boys YouTube channel. I feel honored to be, you know, involved in this. Thank you for having me on TJ and Sean. 1:02:05 I'm going to throw it to my boy here. Yeah, appreciate you guys having us on or on Instagram, Tech Talk, YouTube, all the spaces. But yeah, come check us out. But yeah, I mean, check us out on the grass league too. Yeah, what's the score tomorrow? 1:02:20 What are, what are we trying to shoot? What's the target? I think a realistic score, I think the cut line is going to be probably 5. Yeah, OK. I think 5 you're going to have to make. I think that's going to be the cusp of of where we're at. I think if we have a really good day, it's 5 or 6. 1:02:37 I think if we have an average day, it's 3 or 4. So I think it's going to really come down to to making putts and just plain under pressure, right. It's going to be a different atmosphere for us. I think it's going to be an atmosphere that we might excel in though. I think the competitive juices, seeing people wanting to play well in front of other people is kind of where we like to be. 1:02:57 So we're ready for it. You know what's going to happen and what happens. Whatever happens, happens. Let's just go have fun. Very sure. Awesome. I love that joke. Well, we had fun with you guys today and also at Airwood. So I don't need to go through the subscribe stuff because you guys did it for me. So I'll say yeah, right. 1:03:15 And thank you for. Having us. Can't wait to play with you again. Yeah, can't wait. Make sure you hit those drives straight. Work on your short game. See you boys later, Palace.
